Evo tema u kojoj možemo prokomentirati što je pjesnik htio reći O čemu je zapravo neka pjesma, koji je naš dojam, doživljaj i slično
Pa, započnimo s pjesmom Hoziera - Take me to Church
Tekst:
"Take Me To Church"
My lover's got humour She's the giggle at a funeral Knows everybody's disapproval I should've worshipped her sooner
If the heavens ever did speak She's the last true mouthpiece Every Sunday's getting more bleak A fresh poison each week
'We were born sick, ' you heard them say it
My Church offers no absolutes She tells me, 'Worship in the bedroom.' The only heaven I'll be sent to Is when I'm alone with you—
I was born sick, But I love it Command me to be well Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
[Chorus 2x:] Take me to church I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife Offer me that deathless death Good God, let me give you my life
If I'm a pagan of the good times My lover's the sunlight To keep the Goddess on my side She demands a sacrifice
Drain the whole sea Get something shiny Something meaty for the main course That's a fine looking high horse What you got in the stable? We've a lot of starving faithful
That looks tasty That looks plenty This is hungry work
[Chorus 2x:] Take me to church I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies I'll tell you my sins so you can sharpen your knife Offer me my deathless death Good God, let me give you my life
No Masters or Kings When the Ritual begins There is no sweeter innocence than our gentle sin
In the madness and soil of that sad earthly scene Only then I am Human Only then I am Clean Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
[Chorus 2x:] Take me to church I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife Offer me that deathless death Good God, let me give you my life

"I was born sick, But I love it." "Take me to church I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife Offer me that deathless death Good God, let me give you my life"
Vodi me u crkvu, kao pas slijepo cu pratiti tvoje lazi, reci cu ti svoje grijehe, ti pocmi ostriti noz.(Kroz sarkazam, u prijevodu mozda "Tko je bez grijeha neka prvi baci kamen") Dobri boze, dopusti mi da ti dam svoj zivot. Ovim dijelom se vjerojanto predstavlja nametnuta religija, i vjerovanja pojedinaca. Sve u svemu zanimljiva stvar, s porukom.
Evo jedna klasika, oko koje se desetljecima govorilo da sadrzi okultnu stranu u sebi:
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim I had to stop for the night There she stood in the doorway; I heard the mission bell And I was thinking to myself, "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell" Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way There were voices down the corridor, I thought I heard them say...
Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place) Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the Hotel California Any time of year (Any time of year) You can find it here
Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes bends She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys she calls friends How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat. Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain, "Please bring me my wine" He said, "We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine" And still those voices are calling from far away, Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say...
Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place) Such a lovely face They livin' it up at the Hotel California What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise) Bring your alibis
Mirrors on the ceiling, The pink champagne on ice And she said "We are all just prisoners here, of our own device" And in the master's chambers, They gathered for the feast They stab it with their steely knives, But they just can't kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was Running for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before "Relax, " said the night man, "We are programmed to receive. You can check-out any time you like, But you can never leave! "
